Shama Sikander misses beaches and exotic places

Bollywood actor Shama Sikander is one water baby. She loves the beach and she has not been able to go to one for a quite some time due to the current situation.

Being a beach person, the actor is reminiscing good old days, “It’s been a difficult time for the world. I so wish I could go on a vacation but the situation is not getting better. I love spending time by the beach and it’s been a long time I went to one. The situation seems to be getting out of control now with India reaching almost 1 lakh cases a day.

Hopefully, we get through these difficult times and see normalcy again. Till then, I think I only can visit them in my dreams. I urge everyone to stay safe and within the protocols. It’s necessary and we need to do it now more than ever.”

In an earlier interview, the Yeh Meri Life Hai actor opened up about going through an unsavoury moment of casting couch proposition, adding that she dealt with it as maturely and wisely as she could.

“I think I was the first one to speak about casting couches. Today, you realise it because one #MeToo movement happened and it was big enough to shake everybody. So, everybody is now trying to talk about these things but before this none of you even wanted to talk about these things. Everybody was so scared. The media has got power. It’s appreciating that thought,” Shama said.
